I have lived here for a year, and I'm about to move out. They never came to fix things when called. I had a water leak for over 2 months and a big whole in my ceiling. The people in the office are rude and don't care if you have to live in trash. My water bill is billed through Tara Courts and it runs from $60-$90 EVERYMONTH. And If your not home that month you still have to pay, because it is metered all together.
The playground in the 1st phase has been tagged and has broken glass everywhere, they never cleaned it up. The kids between 8 and 16 that hang out there dance outside has if they were adults in a club and listening to loud and foul music that CHILDREN should NOT be listening to. I do not allow my kids to play there anymore due to this. Adults stand outside all hours of the night playing music and being load.
I have heard gun shots many time and had to call the police. I don't feel safe here and want everyone to know they should check out the website for sex offeners in that area, you would be shocked at what you see! They live in the apartments.
When it came 30 days from our lease to end, we had informed them that we wanted to move out. They told us that we couldn't without a 60 day notice. And due to this our lease rent from $515.00 a month, went to $780 for a month to month lease. Which we have to pay for, for a month so we can move out.
On top of everything, there is a Roach Infestation. I have called a million times to have it takin care of. I have 2 small children and I'm about to have a new born baby. I don't think I should have to pay $780 for a infestation problem. Nor should my kids have to live in that. When we asked to move, half-way in our lease, because of the bugs they told us that they wouldn't move us due to ALL THE APARTMENTS IN ALL THE PHASES HAD A BUG PROBLEM!! Word for word that is what was said to me.
If you have kids, or are a family type home you should not move here. I would not recommend anyone to live here for any reason. Please think about your safey first. And know that the schools are losing there creditation in Clayton County.
