I MOVED IN TO TARA COURTS IN OCT 09 AND FROM THE DAY I MOVED IN IT WAS HELL. MY GARBAGE DISPOSAL DIDNT WORK BUT THEY FIXED THAT WITHIN A WEEK (I GUESS TO IMPRESS THE NEW TENANT). THEN ONE MORNING I WOKE UPT TO ANTS DEVOURING MY 6MONHTH OLD!!!!! AND WHEN I TURNED ON THE LIGHT IT WAS LIKE A RIVER OF ANTS THAT LEAD FROM MY SON TO THE WALL ALL AROUND THE ROOM AND INTO AN OUTLET. i was OUTRAGED! they promised me they would have pest control asap. i asked if pest control could leave a recipt stating they were there and what areas where sprayed. i nver recieved one. the handle to the shower broke off in both bathrooms and i put in a request to have it fixed it took maintaince almost a month to come fix it and it still broke the next day. mind you during this time a had to use scissors to turn the shower on and off. the maintaince man was soooo rude. i asked him one simple question on how to avoid leaks and he told me there was no way to avoid them and these apts were old and nasty and he would never live in these old molded apts!! of course i complained to the manager about him and all she did was give me attitude as well. and to put the icing on the cake me and my son woke up to gun shots one sunday morning. i have heard gun shots before but never this close. my boyfriend looked out the window and saw 2 men running behind my apt trying to hop the gate to the other side. when we walked outside to go to churth there was a dead man RIGHT IN FRONT OF MY DOOR!!!!! i walk to my car and there is another dead body!!!!!!!! that was the last straw i packed all my things that night took my son to my grandparents and moved out right then and there. i gave the manager a nice detailed letter stating why i was breaking my lease and this is the perfect situation for breaking my lease and she told me i still had to pay all fees. i told her if anything they owed me money b/c i paid to live there the whole month of january and was moving out 1 week before the month was up. she refused. so i cleaned the apt really good left it cleaner than when i moved in and turned in the keys. they still put the balance on my credit and now i am fighting to get it removed. so far its been removed off transunion and im still working on getting it removed from equifax and experion. if this has happened to you please be proactive and try to get it removed from your credit. you had every right to move if you didnt feel safe in your own home. NEVER NEVER NEVER MOVE HERE!!! TRUST ME YOU WOULD RATHER LIVE WITH YOUR PARENTS THAN LIVE HERE

Hey, people. There is a difference between, "Tara Courts did their job and kept their rules and we complain AND Tara Courts broke their promises and we complain." Tara Courts broke their own rules. Hello! To those of you who say, "God's protecting my family." Good, I'm glad He does, and I'm glad He has called you to live in that ghetto. Without you, there would be no hope in those apts. For the rest of us, get out whenever you can! Those of you with a lower standard of living are fine, you can stay since you feel comfortable and very few problems, but I want more than a barrio for me kids. Watch how many things they find wrong with your apt that they never fixed when you do move, and then come back and tell me how great the apts were. Get out of Dodge!
