Moved here a few months ago and thought i was moving into a nice place until i came to clean the apartment before i moved in. The carpet had been cleaned but should have been removed because of animal...you can guess. The back door was still chewed up from the last tentants dog.(we know it was the dog because we checked the apt. out from the steet a week or so before moving in and he was tstill on the pourch.) They asked if the door would be a problem' The washer and drying where so banged up and old that they spray painted them and i couldn't stand to touch them....much less try to clean with a wipe. Other small problems where sticking out all over the place and finally when they would not change the carpet they gave us keys to look at 6 other apartments and take our pick. OK that was good! We ended up taking one that coast us about $200 more a month. Oh and you should know they do not let you use your own washer and dryer. We gave our 3 year old set to my brother and thought we would have nice LUXURY ones. The new apartment also has an old washer and dryer that do not hold larg loads and you have to drain the water a 2nd time each load, while the dryer takes a few times to dry. They have yet to bring me new ones even after coming out many times to fix them. My toilet seat broke off the other day and i have talked to them so many times about problems i will use the other bathroom until i can just move. Good Luck and keep looking!
p.s. right now this very min. the guys are trying their best to work out a problem with the water flowing out of the pipes onto the ground under us. I have been trying to get them out all weekend with no answer. You should know that everyone here shares the water bill!
