I got a letter from Amli, stating that another set of apartments just got broken into AGAIN!

This is the Third time in Three Months, does anyone (outside of me) see a trend here'

If you move out here, buy a gun and get a big, bad guard dog to watch after things when you are not here, because Amli sure isn't going to help.

AVOID AMLI BARRETT AT WALK AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I personally know that the action of the staff of the community led to the capture of these criminals. I find it upsetting that you would say they aren't do anything when I have seen them standing out in 95 degree heat watching the gate entrance to the community on several occassions and I know they were part of the reason that these criminals were caught. They were great on informing us of the situation right away and I thank them for all that they have done.

After living at this place for 3 years, why does your review focus on recent events during the last 3 months that have nothing to do with the apt complex itself?? And would you prefer mgnt to not inform you of break-ins at all? Sounds like these were related break-ins by the same people that the cops finally caught. This can happen anywhere in any neighborhood, especially if it's somewhat upscale looking. So you get a gun & a sect'y alarm system & report anything suspicious to the cops. Don't leave anything valuable in your car & install better locks. Mngt can only do so much to stop this sort of thing. Such break-ins will increase everywhere now that the economy sucks, so don't blame it on the mgnt. P.S. How can a review written in Oct'08 get 2 responses written in July'08?

I actually find it interesting that you would say that ?????? but I tend to follow the fact you are probably the new property manager - is your revenue dropping? The facts are as follows ?????? 1)Anyone can see where there have been numerous instances where the front gate has been broke and left open for days on end leaving little to no physical security for the residents. 2)Everyone is aware of how contractor??????s come-and-go on their own free will and do building ??????work?????? with no prior notification to the residents. a. They set up and do work in our driveways and leave a total mess behind ?????? no respect for the property b. When the senior managing staff at Amli are contacted, they do not respond to even the simplest emails. 3)Your analysis of things that happen in 2008 is partially correct. What you are overlooking is simply that resident chose to report it on this site to warn others of Amli??????s lack of common respect for their residents and the overall lack-a-dazical interest to improve our security and help us protect our valuables, family and loved ones and live in a safe home-like environment. 4)In addition, there were numerous apartment burglaries prior to this couple being captured. 5)They broke into four other apartments unchallenged prior to getting caught that day. 6)Furthermore, other burglaries in our complex have gone unreported by Amli (all a matter of public record you can pull from Cobb Courts). Therefore, this one instance only tells 1/1,000th of the whole picture of a history of breaking and entering. 7)Personally, I think Amli actually should reward the resident with a year of free rent/lease for being a model resident and helping catch someone who broke into my apartment. (Hold your breath on that one.) 8)So as a company, Amli will fine you for late rent, they will be slow in responding to simple items like roaches, they will never be polite and respect you as a resident and gawd forbid they were to ever respond to an email ?????? for that is just beneath them. 9)However, if you want to move on out, their referral fees have risen from $300.00 to $500.00 per referral ?????? so if you have a friend you want to play a practical joke upon let me know, at least I can make $500.00/referral. ;-) 10)So you are right ?????? that 2008 incident only tells a fraction of what the real truth is at Amli Barrett Lake(s). Don??????t get me started on the ??????peeping-Tom-stalker?????? they captured out here.
