Complainers need to get a clue

It looks like the same person just keeps posting the same comments over and over. Sheesh. Just to clarify, I'm mot a staff member, I am putting this message on here for people to understand apartment living and dealing with people. Like you, I do think there are improvements that need to be made on this property but we need to step back and see the larger picture.
Noisey Neighbors: Quite hours at most properties are between the hours of 10 pm & 8 am, Sunday thru Thursday with a little difference on the weekends. You should ask about that at the office. You should remeber - It's an apartment building, not a house. If you want a house then go buy a house but until then remember that people above you will walk, talk, watch TV, have guests, and play the radio. If they are excessive, then it's Your responsibilty to FIRST go over there, knock, and politely ask them to quite down a bit. Only if you don't get a responce should you start getting the management involved. These are the rules of conflict my friend. (1) You confront the person in a polite way, (2) then you get assistance from another source, (3) then you go higher up the ladder as needed. Remember we are adults right' I have a neighbor who has guests over some weekends and the music gets a little loud and I go over and ask him to quite down a little and he always does. Imagine that. Know what else' I actually chat with my neighbors when I see them in the hallway or in the parking lot. I know who they are and they know me. This makes conflict resolution go much more smoothly.
Work Orders:
There is something like 300 - 320 apartments here. That is well over 800-900 people living in our community. There are, I think, 3 maintenance men, right' You do the math. They have always fixed my actual maintance problems in a timely manner. My old roommate was like most of you I suspect... She called for a lightbulb, for the toilet being a little clogged, for the drain being slow, a stain on the carpet, the A/C making noise, or the grass being to green. I had to finally tell her this: We do ont live in a hotel!! They are not here to change our light bulbs and fix our slow drains! If you lived in a house, YOU would be responsible for those things. The dame is true here for crying out loud! You are the one who clogged up the drain; pick up some drain cleaner at the store as well as the light bulbs you are using. You are the one who spilled the coffee and stained the carpet so clean it up yourself. Are you disabled or handicapped' Only they are the people who should require that type of service from the maintenance staff for such common needs. And by the way the A/C is a large machine and it is going to make noise.
As far as broken gate or broken lights on the nature trails; the management really breaks them just so you can call them 100 times a day. YEAH, SURE IMAGINE THAT !!!!! Remember that it takes time to get someone scheduled to come out and fix something like that.
Remember that if you show a little patience and kindness. Kindness usually brings out the best in others, especially when you want something done.
I have been living in different apartment communities in my life and I find that this community is really no different than most. But what I will say is that the staff has always been friendly and professional, they have meet all of my needs and handled any repairs I have had in a timely manner. As far as the move out inspection procress I have not expreinced that yet but I
would believe that the management will want the apartment returned to them the same way I recieved the apartment at time of move-in. I would believe that if I did not return the apartment the same way the I would be charged for the damages. That is the way it has been at the other communities I have lived in.
I will close by saying that I would recommend Clarinbridge to anyone who is looking for a community that is well kept, large floor plans, and understands apartment living. I will be renewing my lease for another six months.
