This is a Complex who, on the surface, offers all a renter wants. In time, you realize... the staff could care less.
I don't believe I've met a more shallow person, or a more unprofessional group of people, than I have at Clarinbridge.
When a serious issue arises, from the renter's point of view, they disappear... Shame on Clarinbridge!
To date.. Apr 06 to Aug 06
Plagued by air conditioning problems... Yes! I have a hole in the ceiling, which has yet to be fixed. Funny, in Apr I asked is that dripping sound NORMAL' Response, oh yes.. to be expected when living on 2nd floor.
AUG RENT PAYMENT, now this is an excellent story... I filed my checkbook in a really good place (very safe from my eyes), so when it was time, I grabbed an "out of sequence" check and, with no benefit of the register, made the check out for the lease amount...
$25 short. Now that was on the 1st, 5 days later Clarinbrige staff calls and states that I must bring a check in the correct amount that day or my rent payment will be considered late.
I did as they asked and they indicated my $25 short check would be returned to my door that very afternoon. Well, I guess you guessed it.
Here I am writing you .. the Clarinbridge Courtesy Officer has lost the check{s}.
Please make note, I have called Clarinbridge everyday. At first, their response was, we'll call you back... and after no return, I called again and again.... that's when they quit taking my calls, that is... until the weekend staff came on board.
It wasn't until this following Saturday, after my umpteenth call that they suggested I stop payment on my Aug 1st check (today is Aug 12th).. once again, you got it right, according to them, the stop check fees are on me.
Don't make the mistake I did... the apartment homes are pretty... but, Management counts.
It's an investment in each other.

You're blaming Clarinbridge because YOU wrote your check 25.00 short? You're an adult you should know how much your rent is. They shouldn't have to hold your hand.

No, everyone makes mistakes. And you corrected yours. Then Clarinbridge made it worse, but you are the only one to pay for a mistake. And regardless, the staff should both work with you, i.e. answer/ return calls, and conduct their business in a polite, respectful, and professional manner. Even if you were in the wrong initially.
