Lots to say- I hope my comments can be helpful.
It saddens me to have to leave such a beautiful apartment. Unfortunately, I am leaving because of personal issues that have nothing to do with my apartment.I have lived here for 2 years now. When I first moved in, I was impressed by the apartment I selected. The foorplan is extremely spacious and very unique in style. The appliances are white, the cabinets and hardware are gorgeous, and the crown molding and paint job is elegant. There is wonderful track lighting in my kitchen and a classy light fixture in the dining area.
The Management has changed recently, and I will say in my expereiences, it's a lot better. The previous manager, Jane was truly a horrendous person who to my shock one day, got out of her car, came up to my car window, and SCREAMED at me for "trespassing" as I followed her through the gate one morning. I immediately filed a complaint with her District Manager. Jane called me later in the afternoon and said she was sorry if I misunderstood her. There was no misundertstanding- She was just a rude and mean person, as other residents have put it. The new Manager is excellent.
What's not so good- the cable provider is terrible- No TV Guide Channel, you never know what channel you're watching. I have Direct TV instead. The Staff is pretty nice for the most part- the new Manager is very nice and the Assistant Manager, Jacqueline is wonderful. She has been so good to me concerning 2 very important issues I've had since living here. I'm disappointed the rent has gone up (a little)after both leases. Parking has never been an issue for me, as I luckily have a side lot next to my apartment that not many people park in.
The good things-
People for the most part are friendly here- or maybe I'm just friendly to them' It's in a great location, the apartments are classy, the amentities are great, and the complex layout is very good.
I am saddened to leave, and hope to return. I've made very good friends with neighbors and will take many memories with me.

Sad to leave? Are you one of the numerous Section 8 renters or Hurricane Katrina evacuees who have descended on this once nice complex to live for FREE? Losing out on what was once a free ride can be the only reason I can think of why anyone would be "sad" to leave.
