I think the reviews posted were from people who were bitter at something or someone lying. In the year I've lived here, I've never experienced anything like what I've read on this site. The grounds are well kept, there isn't any rampant crime running amok, every single maintenance issue was fixed promptly, and I've never had an issue with anyone at the front desk. I'll address those issues later.

I passed up this place because of a leasing agent, who is no longer with the complex, and came back for a second shot. I was even matched a recent promotion that had expired because even after my bad experience, I decided to give them another try. It's been by far one of the best places I've lived at in Kennesaw, Greenhouse is by far worse, yet everyone is saying Shiloh is bad.

I've only ever heard minor complaints from people who have lived in the complex and I'm sure most of the complaints are from people who don't even live here or are holding a grudge.

I've only ever really dealt with two staff members, Diane and Veronica, both have been extremely helpful every time I've had a question or an issue. Even all the way up to VP of the Southeast, everyone has been helpful and understanding with any questions and concerns I have.

I'll address a few things:

Gates: Some smart person keeps running into the gates or bashing the keypad, I don't know how that's the complex's fault. Even when they do fix it, some moron runs into it again. It's a never ending cycle and it's like this at most places with gates.

Maintenance: I've never had a maintenance call take longer than a day if put in early enough. They have plenty of maintenance staff on duty to handle the cases.

Police: First off, it's an apartment complex, I'd rather see police doing their job rather than ignoring what's going on.

Building Construction: As far as I'm concern, it does it's job. Someone complaining about hearing their neighbors has obviously never lived in an older apartment complex where you can literally here them watching a movie. As far as the doors, well, if people are going to swing their doors open and let it slam shut, that's just their problem, and I've grown to know that this is a shared environment and you're being too picky if you complain about stuff that happens at every apartment complex.

Dogs: Well, it's the owners faults for not picking up after their pets. And people lie about dog breeds. I'd really like to see a crack down on the aggressive breeds.

Parking: It can be bad. Most of the time it isn't, but I noticed when there were less people living in my building parking seemed to be hard to come by, but now that everything if filled up, parking isn't as bad as it used to be.

Rent increases: That comment about $115 fails to say what lease they signed with, if it was less than a year, the price is normally higher. I resigned a 1 year lease and mine only went up $25, or about 3%, which my last place was a 6% increase, or $50, and was the reason I moved where I am today.

Crime: I've never heard of anyone breaking into apartments or cars in the complex. And I've never seen people hanging around in the breezeway. If you really are concerned, contact the sheriff's office or the Cobb Police and ask for Records and get a report on the crimes reported around the area.
