My husband and I joke that this place is like a fungus. When we first moved in (not even a year ago) there was a decent amount of green space and trees. Now, there is hardly an inch of space without condos, townhomes, apartments or soon to come retail space (which will make getting in and out of here even more frustrating with increased traffic). Ridenour construction is out of control.
Exits and entrances are frequently blocked without warning by construction crews-if you bring it up to management they do nothing and dismiss the problem-even make light of the situation and say that you could use the other entrances (however inconvenient and as if you hadn't thought of that).
Maintenance is nonexistent. Problems we reported when we first moved in are still not fixed. The blinds are such poor quality that they break just by opening them. The so-called "tile" floors are cheap linoleum.
People leave heaps of garbage on their decks (especially our neighbor) and management does nothing about it, so we can't use our deck unless we want to smell garbage.
Management wanted to raise our rent by almost $100/month for a renewed lease. The inconvenience and noise of constant construction (there apparently has been construction for more than 5 years)is ridiculous.
One of the entrances is going to be surrounded by retail shops and retirement condos, so I can imagine how that will effect driving in that area.
Before moving in we were told that we could have half a month free (as a "wedding present"), which we should have gotten in writing because management flat out denied offering such a deal.
Don't let internet pictures fool you-the tennis courts pictured are not for apartment people. They are only for townhome people.
Garage prices are not set. We are paying $75/month, some people pay over $120/month, and we know a guy who pays $25/month.
Very shady management.
Way too expenisve for what you get.
