We got our apartment in March and thought it was going to be awesome since we were so close to Kennesaw State since we are all students. We absolutely loved it at first, than it went downhill from there. We started seeing HUGE roaches EVERYWHERE and we always called maintenance about spraying. They would come, but there bug spray was the same stuff we were using. No company would ever come. The maintenance people were EXTREMELY rude to me when I put a bag of trash outside my door for two minutes while I grabbed my things for work. I was taking it to the dumpster in a few minutes. They also neglected my phone calls and my boyfriends emails were also ignored regarding our balcony door hanging on a single hinge and our A/C grate fell off. It took them 10 days to finally fix them. Also our hot water heater busted within a month of moving in. I know this happens, yet they would only give us 2 fans to dry it out! So now we live in a mildew moldy place that always smells. The office staff was very helpful though and very sincere. We were paying 970 for a six month lease and wanted to renew yet our rent for a 12 month lease was going to be 1050. Thats crazy!! I can live in a newer apartment for cheaper and much less. The neighbors were very nice though, and dealt with our sometimes crazy nights. Also, the first months fees were insane!! They neglected to tell us how much it was all going to be. The pool was always a white color and the second pool did not open unitl well into the summer. I think its a good first move but I would not live here again.
