It was nice and served my needs

I only signed a 6 month lease to begin with. That being said, Hillside Vista was a nice place to live. I found it to be quiet most of the time, but that really depends on your neighbors. I can sometimes hear the conversation of the neighbors behind my master bedroom, and recently a younger person moved in upstairs who sometimes likes to play his electric guitar or keyboard at odd hours of the night and morning. Before this it was usually very quiet. Parking can be a nightmare if you come in past 9 or 10 pm- the lots fill up fast and you may have to park several buildings away. The staff and management did change shortly after I moved in. New management and staff made several errors, such as faxing GA Power to have the utilities transferred back to thier name instead of mine, and crediting my rent a day late, then became rather threatening with thier notices regarding these things. Both issues I had notified them in advance of the problem but somehow staff "didn't have a record of it". Eventually the issues were resolved but only because I keep VERY detailed records of my own. Otherwise it would have been my word against theirs.
About the apartment itself, though- they are very nice and have neat little touches that make it feel homey, like arched doorways in the entry foyer, khaki paint (so everything isn't blah-white), crown molding, and roman tubs in the master baths. Laundry rooms are adequate size, but W/D is not included so if you don't own one be prepared to spend time in the clubhouse laundry room @ $1 per washer and $1 per dryer. The amenities are nice (business center, workout room, pool, tennis court) but sometimes the office runs short on amenity keys, so you may have to wait for access. Overall, I was pleased with my time here, but like I said I went into it with short-term goals and I really tried to minimize my interaction with management. If you want a nice place to live and you don't intend to interact with the office much, then this place is perfect.
