Hillside Vista

This complex seems very nice from the outside. The grounds are well kept and the pool area is appealing. There is a small workout facility and laundry room as well. The staff is friendly and somewhat accommodating. For the most part this place is pretty nice.

Despite all of the positive things above, my wife and I have a couple of big complaints about Hillside Vista. The walls in the apartments are paper-thin. Iāve lived in several apartments and never seen anything quite like this. You hear everything your neighbors are doing, and vice versa. I hear my neighborās conversations, phone calls and yes even their nocturnal activities. We are often awoken by the sound of moaning and squeaking bed springs.

In addition to the thin walls, this complex is located near the Kennesaw airport. At night you can hear smaller planes buzzing by. There is also some kind of loading dock just next door. We often hear beep, beep, beepā.. after midnight, from the trucks backing up.

The quality of the tenants at Hillside Vista leaves something to be desired. Though Iāve run across some really nice people who were in the same situation as me, a majority of the tenants here are a little scary.

There are many apartments in Kennesaw to choose from. I would suggest you look elsewhere if you are looking for a nice quiet community. Iām counting the days until my lease is up!

Note ā If you do move to Hillside Vista, demand a top floor apt. I would imagine the sound level would be reduced on the third floor.
