I lived at Lakeside for 1 year, and I had a nice apartment. Big for one person, but the one thing I didn't like is when I filled out the application, I asked them to place me on either top or second floor, because I am single and get off work late at night, so when it was time for me to move in they gave me a bottom level apartment, back by woods. I needed a place to stay quick so I took it, and why did I do that, I had people knocking on my bedroom window, then I had some guy try to break in my apartment while I was there, and luckly my neighbor and his girlfriend was coming in from clubbing, and he ran off. The maintance was HORRIBLE, It took them 4 months to come and clean up this bird mess, which they made a toilet out of my porch and the bolder that was holding up the other porch. I had to go up to the office and have them walk down with me to see what I was talking about. The serious issues within my apartment was ants, boy did I have ants, it took maintance 1 month to come and check that out. The outside was another problem, kennesaw police was over there at least 2 to 3 times a week, kids fighting and outside after 10pm, girls walking at night in the there PJ's, sometimes the trash compactor was overflowing. I mean the apartments were very beautiful, and the price was good, I mean I had 840sq at $607.00 and it was totaly electric, crown molding, and garden tubs, I mean it was like living in Buckhead, but also living on Bankhead. Oh! and my referral fee. I referred someone in July 2007, and I just got that in Jan. 2008, but I moved out Oct 2007. The staff is really slow, and when you call and leave a message, oh that call will not be answered until a week or so later, and it is like only two people who can answer your question, but they are never in the office. Now Hillside Vista is not like that, and they are not owned by the same company. I mean they have the same floors plans, but at higher price. I say if you want to live in an apartment complex that is nice, but the police is over there all the time, and the kids are out of control, then this is for you. But I would truly think about your safty and your kids safty 1st. Talk about Getto Fabulous,
