DO NOT move here!! This complex used to be called Sterling Highlands but is now Century Crest at Barret Lakes. The office staff is helpful when you're moving in, but afterwards do NOTHING to assist. We have been complaining about a roach problem from the time we moved in and the staff has done nothing to correct it. Our porch railing is almost falling off and maintenance has not fixed it even though we've called it in numerous times. The insulation is horrible - we pay about 1/3 more on our electric bill because of the strong draft that comes in through the doors and windows. There are frequent break ins here. Strange people linger out in the parking lot and around the buildings. The office staff is completely unorganized and lies about everything from maintenance to fees. If you have to deal with them, get them to give you information in WRITING. I WOULD NOT recommend this place. We are moving as soon as our lease is up.

I AGRE I MOVED IN SEPT 28, 2008 AND SIGNED UP FOR A 14 MONTH LEASE. SOMEHOW THEY ALTERED MY DOCUMENTS TO MAKE IT LOOK LIKE I SGNED UP FOR A 16 MONTH LEASE. ONE OF THE PAPERS HAS A WHITEOUT MARK OVER THE 4 ON THE 14 TO MAKE IT LOOK LIKE A 16. WHEN I KNOW I WOULD NEVER SIGN THAT LONG OF A LEASE. IM TAKING THIS INTO LEGAL MATTERS AND IM MOVING OUT FIRST CHANCE I GET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
