I75 Noise, Motorcycles & Loud Cars

If you might like living in the middle of I75 then you will love the Villas At Kennesaw. There are no noise barriers along I75 and the truck & traffic noise, and emergency sirens are horrific. The noise level in my apartment is unbearable and at times you can feel vibration on the flooring from the Freeway traffic.
The property amenities include motorcycle access ALL NIGHT LONG, and the hot muscle cars of the college kids speeding through the community at all hours of the night is unbelievable. Friday and Saturday nights at the Villas is like living at a speedway.
The privacy gates offer no privacy; unwanted solicitors knock on your door and leave advertising and I have had numerous events of someone turning the doorknob to see if the door was locked. The gates are open ALL DAY LONG & even when closed, they offer no security since they allow 2 or 3 cars to enter at once and the gates are freestanding with no fencing attached. This is of concern since the neighborhood is a pretty ugly, transient area and I suppose this is why there have been quite a few really serious incidents of theft and other events in this community so check out the Cobb County Police Report logs before thinking of moving to the Villas At Kennesaw.
This property is well on its way to becoming well-suited for a low income public housing project. It is definitely not for those that want to walk their pets in the evening or allow children to play outside or to simply just sleep for that matter.

I agree with Anonymous above. There are lots, and I mean lots of traffic through the parking lots all night long of loud cars, specifically a Mini Cooper that doesn't sound even street legal; a bronze/amber motorcycle just came in around 1:20 A.M. tonight and another motorcycle just flew out of the parking lot and is 3:30 AM so I was woken up again for the 3rd time tonight after a huge barking dog in the hallway outside my door sometime around midnight. This is a miserable place to live - asolutely miserable. Tonight is Thursday night and as Anonymous said above - just wait until Friday and Saturday night - it is MUCH worse. If you like peaceful surroundings then this apartment complex is not your best choice - I heard that Clarinbridge is good/quiet but has a waiting list at the moment though.

My favorite loud car is the big black suburban(?) that has the loudest bass I have ever heard in my life. It recently parked outside of my building (acutally right under my balcony) at 10am with the bass BLARING. I called the office only to be told they cant do anything about noise complaints, that I will have to call the police. Stupid managment.
