The city alone of LaGrange is limited in finding a decent apartment. To feel the most secure in a community setting; my husband and I chose Sun Ridge.

When we arrived, I expected to see better maintenance and up keep of this so called illustrious community.

When we arrived there were 2 live roaches spotted. {NO, we didn't bring them} The grounds up keep is ok although if you have a dog this is the place for you. The grounds maintenance lacks discipline with all of the dogs and the owners who don't clean up after their dogs. On many occasions I've seen the owner stand [No bag in sight] with the dog and use the bathroom just at the edge of the grass and run back in doors. When you go outside it smells of dog poop and when you walk near the dumpster it reaks on smelly garbage. Which could use a lid.

I expected the apartments to not be as aged as they are. The Gardens Apartments have better counter tops and cabinets.

The maintenance crew are a little slow when making repairs, also when an item is broken they rather repair it than replace it. IE: 1) a broken shower head=maintenance just puts teflon tape on it a; 2)hole in dryer vent=maitenance says "it'll be ok".

I did not expect to have to put my dirty garbage in my car and bring it to one large dumpster. The apartment community lacks multiple garbage dumpsters.

Gym, golf, a tennis court; all of that is fine, but some of the small ammenities of this supposingly great community are lacking.
