Management needs to brush up on their leasing skills

Years at this apartment: 2002 - 2002
My husband and I had a very bad experience with the staff at 3400 Club Drive. Exactly, one week after putting in an application for an apartment, we got a phone stating that we had been approved for the apartment and that they only needed us to bring in a copy of our license and social security cards to make the process final. The problems began when we got to the leasing office the leasing agent didn't want to show us other optional floor plans, not because they weren't available, she didn't want to go out in the cold. And after continuous waiting the property manager came to the front to tell us that they still had to do the credit report and until they finished that we weren't approved. And all of this was said in the middle of the leasing office where other customers and residents could listen. Finally after giving her a look about discussing our business in front of others, she asked us to come to her office in back.
Quite naturally, we were disturbed with this behavior when we hadn't even signed a lease. And if they exhibited this kind of behavior what can we possibly expect from their other services. So we asked for our deposit back.
I will say that if the customer service I mentioned doesn't bother you, the price and space can't be beat.
