I lived at 3400 Club for 2 years and must admit that it was not a pleasant experience. The entire neighborhood continues to go down hill. I honestly felt like I didn't even live in America while living at these apartments.

Yes, the apartments are spacious for the money, but that doesn't make up for the vandalism, noise, and unkempt grounds. I continually called management about the noise above me but nothing was ever done. The music was so loud (or the walls were so thin that it seemed so loud) it was like the speakers were in my bedroom thumping away while I was trying to sleep.

On the nights that the music wasn't thumping, the bed upstairs was. It was horribly loud, yet as many complaints that I made, it continued.

The water was constantly being shut off without notice. Every once in a while a notice was given a couple of hours before it was actually shut off. It was very inconvenient to come home and start dinner only to find there's no water to cook with or to bathe in.

Like others on here have said, the dumpster once in a while would be overflowing into the street. Other tenants would try to balance their garbage on the hood or trunk of their car only to have it fall off going over the many speedbumps, but they continued on without bothering to pick up their mess. That's the kind of people that live in this community for the most part. They have no respect for other people and are generally hood-rats.

Neither I nor my daughter felt safe. It was so dark at night and you could tell there was gang activity going on. Cars constantly come through with music thumping.

The only person I would recommend these living conditions to is my ex-wife!
