Wonderful Staff, Beautiful Property...... and this was written by a resident not staff member

My family and I have only lived here a short period of time but so far everything is going quite well. The staff has been very friendly and extremely helpful. So far we have not experienced the problems that most of these posts have shared other than problems with the Tanglewood apartment complex that neighbors ours. They have impromptu street parties at times with horribly offensive gansta rap blasting at all hours of the night. We called Gwinnett Co. police and it's been quiet since.

Yes, I agree that hearing your neighbor's activities that would normally be private can be disturbing, but we must remember that we are in an apartment, not a house. It's hard to get used to. Fortunately, so far our neighbors don't seem to be stomping about or blasting loud music so maybe we're just the lucky ones. We have lived beneath extremely loud people in another property and it was horrible. If you feel that noise is a problem, call the police because they will come. That's our plan of action for unruly noise and activities. We will share the information with the leasing office but the police will be the first call.

My complaints at this point: People not picking up after their pets (there are bags and receptacles provided....how easy is that')

People driving way too fast through the parking lot like they are the only ones who are using the parking lot....

Trashy patios with rugs and blankets draped over them. That's a lease infraction. Read your lease.

Unfortunately, when you live in an apartment complex there are often times unwanted elements allowed to lease here. I'm not saying that's okay, because I despise that fact. I don't like living among trashy hoody people who care about NOTHING. But what I am saying is that unfortunately it is a fact of apartment living that sometimes cannot be gotten around. Credit reports can be deceiving. Sometimes really good people have really bad things happen to them causing financial or credit problems. Sometimes really bad people have perfect credit reports and make a lot of money. That's how a lot of the hoody people get in.

Just keep your eyes and ears open and make sure that you let management know what's going on around here. Let's try to keep it a safe and beautiful place to live.

Our complaints are minimal. They are not reflections of the staff but of residents who show lack of caring about lease infractions or just plain old safety or common courtesy to others. It's not a reflection of the property. My advice would be to give 5375 Sugarloaf a chance because it is loaded with amenities, is a beautiful complex, and has a wonderful office staff who go above and beyond to help.
