I lived in Camden Sweetwater right as it was being changed over from Summit Sweetwater. The staff at the time was always changing, but I guess that comes along with a new company. The apartments are located along "apartment row" or Sweetwater Road. Aside from its location, the apartments are quite impressive. The area continues on a downward spiral due to the urban sprawl and way too many apartment complexes located on a small road. The apartments have nice features such as stone entry, large garden tubs and crown molding. I lived in both a one and two bedroom during my time here, and both were very well taken care of and serviced when needed. Tenants tend to be a little rude with load music, taking up two parking spaces, etc. But that is apartment living for you. As noted, the apartments are very nice, but the area is becoming less desirable for younger aged people and familes seeking the convenience of being near malls, interstates, etc. I never had any safety issues while at the complex but I rarely went out walking around the complex for any reason. Staff changed many times while I was here, with the worst of them being right before I moved out. They tack on alot of extra fees in addition to the rent such as waste removal, cable, etc. Along with the water and sewer this will add well over $100 to your monthly rent. Valet waste only picks up on certain days and you are still left to bring out your own trash on the weekends. The gates were complete joke. The should have been built with a seperate entrace for residents and one for guests of the community. Often times you are tailgated in or cut in front of by someone who doesnt live there. Parking spaces are very narrow and people often hit your car with thier doors. If you are one of the ones lucky enough to make it home by 5 or so, you will be able to park close to your apartment, but the later you come home, the less chance you have of being close. All in all the apartments are great, but the class of people moving in has gone downhill within the past several years.

I moved into Camden Sweetwater on July 1, 2009. The apartments and facilities are nice but the leasing office never told me about the problem tenants are having with Roaches. Even though they have pest control service once a Month I feel that thats not enough. I was very disappointed about moving into an apartment under these conditions. I had to spend money ou of my own pocket to purchase home defence items to try and rid the apartment of roaches.

I agree. I toured their apartments and saw roaches in the model apartments. It was gross. This whole area is infected and we all know why.

I moved in May 09 and i taught this would be a great place to live but a month into living here is a nightmere and i wish i can get oit this lease. First its the roach that i cant get rid of then its the rooly pollies that sometimes crawl my bed (gross) then its the mold on aside of my apartment growing in the bathroom and the closet getting all over the clothes and shoes in their. This has been te worst apartment ever.THE WORST and did i mention the noisy neighbor that make noise in the middle of the night and i'm tired of complaining and nothing is being done.
