Think Twice - But Good for the Money

Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2006
When I first moved in, the neighbors were quiet, there was a visible security pressence, things were fixed quickly, someone was always in the office. I did not know that the complex had just been bought by a new management company. Since, the quality of tenants has gone through the floor. Of the 13 other residents in my building, 8 had lived in their apartments for more than 4 years. All but one of those has moved since last year. The noise level has escalated. Yelling outside. Gangster rap blasting from cars at midnight. Teenagers roaming around. Trash overflows the compactor at least once a week. The bushes in front of my building haven't been trimmed in a month. The gates work for about two weeks until someone rams them and then they're wide open for another couple of months.
To use another scale, there use to be current year or newer cars. Now there's mostly old junkers with really expensive hub caps.
The space is great for the price. Great playground if you have kids. Good workout area and the pool is okay. You'll just have to put up with a small percentage of dredge of society and a lackluster management staff.
I'll be gone when I buy a house later this year.
