We moved out a few months ago and...
The crime is terrible. (I don't know...maybe seeing police numerous times a day is comforting to some people.) The apartments are small. The only redeeming quality was that the maintenance guys were always very prompt.
There are, of course, loud stereos and things like that, but I expect that in a complex, however, you can also hear every phone conversation your neighbors have as well as what they're watching on tv.
The rent in the area is pretty cheap, but there's always a reason for that.

The police are always there because they sit at the front of the neighbor hood and watch for people to run the stop sign on the side street that comes into Sweetwater road. This apartment community has really changed in the last couple of years. The landscaping is pretty and the office staff cares. Most of the residents are good here. The ones that complain are the ones that need to leave. Then us other residents would be happier.

Hello Tina Placencia, nice to see you pretending to be a happy resident. The cops can't see the stop sign at the side street from the garbage dump, which is where they hang out. I've spoken with one of these cops after my car window was busted out and my radio stolen. He advised me that Gwinnett Place is well known by GCPD and there is alot of drug and gang activity. He said while the entire Sweetwater road area is less than desirable, Gwinnett Place Apartments is by far the worse. Just a couple of words of truth to counter the false ratings and comments being posted by employees *cough*Tina Placencia*cough* By the way, Tina, the residents DO leave as soon as their leases are up, which is evidenced by your desperate and tacking Lease Special signs plastered all over the neighborhood.
