I've been here since last September, and there's NOTHING positive to say about the place. There is graffiti all over the sidewalks. The parking is atrocious. I've even SEEN TWO GUYS TRYING TO STEAL A CAR! And while leaving for work in the middle of the night, I've seen numerous drug deals, right in front of my building. Honestly, I fear for my own safety when leaving for work. When I leave for work, I always take the biggest butcher knife from the kitchen, just in case. If you like to live with crime, parties all night, drug deals in the parking lot, the smell of pot coming in the windows, gunshots, sirens, fighting and loud music... then Lake Sweetwater is for you. But I can tell you this, I'd rather live in a cardboard box. Or be in JAIL. Heck, jail can't be worse. If you live at Lake Sweetwater, you'll be living with criminals too.
Management is a joke. They just want the money, and couldn't give a flip about any of the tenants. They'll tell you what they think you want to hear, just to "shut you up", and brush you aside. The courtesy officer is a joke. He's NEVER responded to any of my complaints. (What a deal for him... free housing for doing nothing.)
Anyway, before you plunk down a ton of money for a living nightmare, go to Publix, get a big card board box, and try that. You'll be much happier. Or better yet, go commit a crime. You'll get better housing in prison.
