One of the WORST experiences of my life!

I lived here for 2 to 2 1/2 years when the apartments were new. First, I had requested a higher level, back apartment, but received the opposite: Ground level facing the parking lot, so my living room and my bedroom faced the parking lot. I could here EVERYONE coming and going at all hours of the day and night; horns honking, car stereos, people yelling, people walking their dogs right outside my bedroom window...... and it got worse:
My upstairs neighbors had 2 nephews visiting her for the summer who were BEYOND loud: Dishes and things actually fell OFF the counters and moved in the cabinets due to their jumping and banging around. I complained about them CONSTANTLY, but nothing much was ever done other than, perhaps, a letter written to them. The older child once held the younger one over the balcony by his feet, and on another occasion, messed with the power outside, turning the power off to the building. In addition, they would set off the fire alarm. They were FINALLY evicted after months of this, but NOT due to the complaints, but due to not paying the rent,.... and it gets worse!:
My car was keyed very badly (probably by the kids upstairs), and I had to call the police to make a report.... and it gets worse:
My apartment was burglarized in the middle of the day in this GATED community. I was told it was the only apartment that was burglarized. I received absolutely NOTHING from them as far as compensation, not even so much as an apology. They did not even warn other residents about this.
In general, many of my neighbors were very noisy (parties on balconies at all hours, very loud coming and going, etc.).
The only nice things I can think of to say about this place was the apartment was nice inside, the parking was adequate, and my maintenance requests were responding to promptly, well, except for the time my air conditioning went out on a weekend, and it was 85 degrees inside, but they told me they could not come out unless it was more than 85 degrees OUTSIDE.

First of all, a gated community DOES NOT ensure anyones saftey! You should have read your your security agreement that you signed per your move in! I have lived at this community for 5 long wonderful years! Grounds are ALWAYS maintained, work orders are promptly responded to, and if I ever have a problem the courtesy office responds immediately! I think you had more of a problem with your neighbors rather then the community! Furthermore the management team would NEVER tell you that they couldn't fix your a/c unless it was over 85 degrees outside. I know this for a fact because mine was broke and it was 75 degrees outside at night and maintenance came over within 10 minutes of me calling and repaired it!

I think that was management posting the response. Why else would you be so defensive of this place. I lived here for 3 years about 5 years ago and it was nothing to write home about then so I don't see how it could be now.
