Just thought I would add my opinion about the experience I have had at the Madison. I do keep in mind that this is an apartment and there are of course many types of people that do move in BUT COME ON. I must say this is disappointing that this place has gone down hill. The only good thing I can say about this place is the area around is pretty convenient to interstates and shopping.

I personally must say maintenance has definately become terrible at this community. I have had my tubs caulked and recaulked about a dozen times, our air conditioner had froze up (twice now) and stopped working when it was 90 degrees out and maintenance did not respond until the next afternoon to fix (this is the 2nd time I has crapped out) Maintenance came to fix my toilet and said it was fixed & left, I went to flush and it still didn't work. Phone jacks don't work. Some of residents in my building like to set their trash in the breezeways and throw their cigarette butts around breezeways. This would probably explain the HUGE cockroaches (2" mind you) that frequent the breezeways at night (AND sometimes creep into apartments - Yuck). When I complained and asked to spray, they said I was the only one who had complained about the bugs. RIGHT!
That also could explain why we complained about the trash and cigarette butts and no letter was ever sent out to our building like promised (that was over a week ago). I guess we just like to complain we are the only ones with problems at this place.
Please take my advice and check out other apartments in the area. I has been made clear that they don't care about the residents and your living experience here on this property. Big waste of money.
