I have been living there for almost 2 years now. There are drug dealers all over the place (seriously) and the pool is where all of the ghetto crackheads like to hang out at ALL DAY LONG. I have a 3 year old daughter and we can't even take her to the pool because there are a group of crackheads hanging out and a big group of dirty mexican guys who like to punt a soccer ball straight through the pool as hard as they can for hours at a time. It's rediculous. The staff consists of a bunch of lazy pieces of ----. When the time came for my lease to either end or be renewed they jacked up my rent by $30/month. The quality of people here is horrible; lots of noise and loud base late at night and VERY YOUNG kids running around unsupervised all over the place.

We have lived here for a year and never seen any of this. Are you reveiwing the right complex?

I have been living here for a while and I also haven't seen any of this . This apt complex is far from negative. There isn't any ghetto people hanging out at the pool because the complex has on site police officers that patrol our complex . Also, there are no dirty -------- hanging and shooting a ball in the pools because the staff doesn't allow it and they will band that person(s) if they are doing that as it endangers other people's safety. As far as loud music.. They have a rule that states in their agreement as well as the book that a new tenant receives for the apt complex that states that if anyone at all complains of loud noise of any kind for up to 3 times , (and it can be the same person complaining) then the noisy tenant is automatically kicked out. No questions asked. Maybe you didn't pay attention and understood your rights that you as a tenant have while living there. I'm sorry you feel that way , but it goes to show that you can't satisfy everyone. Anyway, the apt is CLEAN , NON GHETTO,and SAFE. My best advice for anyone wanting to find out the truth.. Simply come for a tour and see for yourself.

I have lived here since 2007 as well. We must live in two different places because your descrpition does not match mine. I have always felt safe here with my two children. Yes the pool is overcrowded in the summer but mostly due people who do not live in the complex. The office staff is always nice and professional. The maitnenance staff is prompt and efficient. My rent increased over the last two years by $30 total. Kids do live in the neighborhood as with all apartment complexes they are just being kids. Some of my neighbors have lived here for over 10 years and quite enjoy it. I have some resolvable minor issues but mostly with neighbors that we can resolve without management involvement. I guess I can consider myself blessed to not have the same issues you have.

I am a resident, since August 2009. I have not seen these issues. I do see the children, and yes they are out in the community, but they are kids. What do you want them to do? Stay inside all day?? The office staff is always nice. Whenever I've needed someone from the maintenance department, they are there either the next day or as soon as the same day. Overrall, I have no complaints about Madison at River Sound. Great Community!!
