Looked great, then I moved in

These apartments seemed great when I first moved in. They were practically new and were offeriing fantastic move-in specials.
After I moved in, I realized two major problems with the complex. First it was located directly next to highway 316 and there was a traffic hum all night that took weeks to get used to. This was made worse, by the fact that they have what I guess to be very inexpensive single pane windows, that offer little sound proofing and little protection from the climate outside. When it was cold, even with the heat blasting, I could not sleep or sit next to a window.(my heating bill was probably twice what it should have been.) Also, the windows would sweat from the contrast in temperatures and have huge mildew causing puddles on the sill everyday during the winter.I complained several times, but they said there was nothing they could do without replacing the windows.
On the plus side, the maintanence department is very responsive to any problems. However, a recent problem with the internet in the computer lab has not been fixed in five weeks, despite many complaints. I have had to drive to the public library just to check my email. I would guess management does not want to pay to bring in a computer technician.
I could overlook most of the problems at the Preserve at Legacy Park, with the exception of the window problem.
If you are interested in living there, I would insist that the windows be replaced with storm windows before moving in.
