I've lived here for almost 6 months, and for the most part it's been ok; I mean, every apartment place has its good and bad points, and most of the bad things tend come from the people who live around you. I am fortunate that I don't have any psycho neighbors, though, they're all pretty quiet. Except for the girl with the dog who never cleans up after it. The grassy spot next to my apartment is a field of dog-crap landmines. Gross.

But since I've been here I've noticed that the apartments themselves look nice, but are pretty shoddy. The windows and insulation are a big issue, it was freezing in my room during the winter and scorching hot as it's warmed up. There is a lot of moldy stuff and condensation on the window sills. The carpet is falling apart for no apparent reason. The thermostat is really fickle and you have to fiddle with it for a while to get the air or heat to turn on too. And the office staff is usually pretty rude when you go to pick up a package from UPS or whoever.

But most of all...WHERE'S MY MAIL' I can't tell you how many of my bills have gone missing since I've been here, and I've had to pay late fees for a few of them simply because I never got the bill and had to eventually arrange to either pay it online or over the phone. This isn't the fault of the apartment place itself, really, but it's a big concern to anyone thinking about moving here.
