There are tons of unattended children in the complex. An apartment even caught fire when kids were home alone cooking and started a grease fire. There are kids shooting BB guns at stray cats and an officer notified a neighbor that there was a meth lab in the apartment next to her and asked her to identify the resident.
It took us 6 months to get a referral check that was supposed to take 2 months. Both my car and my husbands car have been vandalized. On the outside the place is immaculate and the apartments on the inside are nice, but it is not an environment I feel safe in. Our upstairs neighbors beat each other up on a monthly basis and we are pretty nmuch over it.
We will not be renewing the lease.
