Nice, but for a Price

Years at this apartment: 2008 - 2009
Have lived here for over 1 yr now, and there are good and bad things about it.
Cons:
1) The complex is right ontop of the road which means any time day or night a fire goes off, you hear the sirens.
2) There are kids running everywhere unsupervised generally causing trouble and yelling.
3) Cockroaches and spiders. They are a serious problem outside at night, and living on the bottom floor have seen fair share of both.
4) Parking is an absolute nightmare. People have too many vehicles and then invite friends over that insist on parking in spots next to the building. Have to park half way across the parking lot most of the time if arriving after 7pm, and weekends forget it.
5) The staff tends to leave at least one gate open during the weekend which means people from other apartment complexes come in to use the pool/patio facilities like it was a beach resort which causes lots of noise.
6) You can hear your neighbor's every movement practically. The insulation between the apartments is virtually nonexistant.
7) The price is way higher than most other apartment complexes on Pleasant Hill. If you manage to convince others to live in here with you, you -may- get $300 towards your rent.
Pros:
1) It's conveniently located down the street from two bus stops, I-85, and Pleasant Hill.
2) If the gates manage to stay closed, it is a safe community to walk around in at night.
3) The male on staff in the office seems very helpful and mostly sincere when you have an issue.
4) The maintenance staff is always very fast and efficient when it comes to repairs.
5) It has great curb appeal as opposed to the apartments across the street. Why they went with a sunwashed beige for the new paint I'll never know.

| Dear Resident, The property is very convenietly located to Pleasant Hill and I-85, therefore, we are in an area where you will hear sirens. The community offers weekly pest control service to the apartments, there is not much we can do about the insects outside. If you will notify the office which building is experiencing a parking problem we will have our courtesy officer tag and tow vehicles that do not belong on the property. Please contact the leasing office, let us know who you are so that we may help find resolution to your concerns. Thank you, Management | |
