When I first moved in almost 2 years ago it was the worst experience of my life. Roaches were coming out from everywhere and the sad thing is I did see any when I did my walk through. I believe management (at the time) had them trained. Many, many repairs were needed and I had to climb the corporate ladder with phone calls in order to get results. There was a 2 page list of repairs needed. Management and maintainence back than was horrible. All maintainence wanted to do was flirt with the female tenants. Finally, the manager was fired and along came another and another. The manager that left a couple of weeks ago (I believe fired) was rude, lazy, and just plain horrible). No matter how you complained nothing was ever done. Many nights I complained about loud music, loud talking, beer drinking, and live mexican bands playing (yes bands playing). Basically the entire strip (where I live) was friends and/or family with many people living in each of the units. Thank God 3 units moved and I must say it is so quiet (sometimes is so quiet it's scary). Also my rent for the month of may is not accounted for and I am having to pay for copies of money orders to prove that I paid.This was when Cornerstone owed the property but the new owners brought it to my attention. Recently Cornerstone sold the property but I must say that all problems and issues reflect on them. I would beware of any Cornerstone properties!!! The new owners have stepped in and is very serious about making changes. If you look around dumpsters are in desinated areas for cleanup of unoccupied and occupied units. I understand this community will become a gated community, new stone flooring in all bathrooms and kitchen areas, and more. Hopefully the workout room will be renovated for use as well as the dumpster area being expanded. Also I hope to see some nice landscaping taking place (like grass instead of pinestraw and maybe some flowers). I think the new owners will make many positive improvements because Cornerstone didn't give a damn about us. Kudos to the new owners and management team!!!
