We moved here just as the management in this complex was changing. At first, we were very impressed. The floor plans are very nice; they were building a new gym; the pool is beautiful. But this is is about the only positive thing I can find to say about Sugar Mill now.

The management here is absolutely awful. We have a problem with them at least once a week. Recently we received a letter from them indicating that we owed them money for our electric bill. I followed up and they said it was a mistake. I get the same letter a week later and once again, they say it's a mistake. They're very disorganized and you have to be careful or else they'll mistakenly charge you something random that makes no sense.

There are constantly children skating in the parking lot. We've also had children banging on our window, looking in, throwing things at our cars, and banging on our door. There's no parental supervision and the leasing office does nothing about it.

Constant noise from construction in the back buildings.

Massive stray animal problem. I have repeatedly asked management to do SOMETHING about this. Instead, they tell me I should take the dogs in. This makes no sense whatsoever.

Poor window insulation that makes heating a constant and has led to tiny bugs that I have NEVER seen before in my life invading our apartment.

Our plumbing is constantly backing up. Parts of our sink have rusted off and maintenance has yet to fix it. The maintenance staff is very nice, but whoever coordinates maintenance is useless. Maintenance calls take FOREVER.

The quality of the community has gone downhill. There have been numerous break ins and are constantly strange out of place looking people wandering around.

No parking whatsoever. I consistently have to park several blocks away from my building.

Just a generally awful place to live.
