I really liked the way the community looked the first time I saw it. Loved how peaceful it seemed and the security gates made me feel like I would be safe. That was a year ago....Now I come home to groups of teens roaming the complex, cursing at the top of their lungs, adults cursing in the playground area so loudly that they frighten the children away. I've had problems with roaches and strange people knocking at my door. It seems like the gates are always open on the holidays and during this time a rash of car burglaries occurs. One Sunday afternoon, some unruly child pulled the fire alarm and ran forcing me and few other neighbors outside. I guess the rest of the tenants would have burned to death unless the Fire Department came and got them. One weekend I went to the laundry room to find that someone had been sleeping in there. The person was gone, but the evidence of their stay was left behind (bread bag, lunch meat container, and cheese wrappers. The door had beem propped open with a peg board. I told the maintenance person what I saw and was told that there was nothing that could be done about it. Don't bother calling the on call security person - he/she won't answer.
The staff seems to care to a certain point, but I can tell that the folks moving in just don't seem to care about there surroundings.
Can't wait to move.
