My family and I relocated here to Georgia from New Orleans because of Hurricane Katrina, and we came to see The Wesley Herrington Apartments, and in the beginning everything seemed o.k. but little did I know there was much more going on' I proceeded to apply for the apartment and gave my deposit without hesitation, and upon receiving my deposit, I was not notified that in the event that I would not be approved that there would be a $100.00 fee for being turned down' The intial fee was $200.00 so I was under the impression that if it did not work out I would get my entire deposit back', little did I know that was not the case! So after finding this out, I explained to management that I could not afford to just give them $100.00 and I still did not get the Apartment' So after several attempts of trying to get information on how and when I would get my remaining $100.00, I just kept hitting these roadblocks, and no one would give me any information and the person who I initially spoke to was always in and out, or with a customer', so I asked for the manager', but to no avail the manager was always busy as well', so after (3) MONTHS!!!! I STILL DO NOT HAVE THE ORIGINAL $100.00 THAT WAS OWED TO ME. I have talked to the Assistant Manager on numerous occassions and she continues to tell me stories of how they're so busy and they will be sending it out within the week, and a whole lot of other B.S.'!!! Til this day... I still have not received anything from Wesley Herrington and probably won't'!! So all I can say is I do not recommend ANYONE!!!!! live at Wesley Herrington because they are so Unprofessional and they are not trust worthy people and they're staff is totally clueless!!!! No one wanted to help me or try to resolve this matter as of yet, but I guarantee you if I had moved there and was paying them rent and I was late for whatever reason', they would not hesitate to evict me and lease my unit to someone else, but instead I have to be treated in this way, and there is basically nothing I can do about it at this point'!!!! I guess when I least expect it they (might') send it'! or then again they may not'!!! It's taken them this long to send only $100.00' and look at how much they are charging for rent' and they cannot refund $100.00' I WOULD NEVER REFER ANYONE TO THEIR PROPERTY EVER!!!!!!! I lost everything and to come all the way to georgia to be ripped off is not what I had in mind!!!!! Signed very Disappointed and P.O.ed!!!!!!!!!

You said yourself that only $100 would be refunded. Why are you trying to get the rest back?

I deciding on renting from the wesley herrington but, there are more negative reviews thatn good ones. In this case the fact of the matter is someone should have told her upfront all of the fees. Also, she still did not get the 100.00 back in the first place. (looking at the dates)she wrote this on 1/20/2006 she said it had already been three months. the manger responded to this on 05/07/2006. This for months later plus the three that she has already waited. For a total of 7 months.Is this how long it takes for issues to get resolved here?
