when you move in, the mgmt is super nice. that?s to get you to move in. once there it?s a whole different story. when we moved in we always paid our rent no later than the 10th b/c that?s what we were told. we were told that it was due on the 5th no later than the 10th. this is how our rent was being paid for 8 months. then on the 9 month, we were told it was due by the 3rd of every month. mind you, we were never charged a late fee for the previous months. 90% of the tenants were dropping their checks off on the 10th. then it changed and they were serving people with eviction notices. you also pay extra for the gate, which is never working. they stay open all day and night. security...what security' when you have problems with your apartment, you call the office and they say, "oh we will put your name on the list." call back the next week and they have amnesia. you have to basically harass them to repair things. when you do a walk-through when you first move in, they promise they will fix what?s wrong. and they never do. you can leave a emergency message on the voicemail. and they never call back. then they lie and say the maintenance guys came but you didnt answer. mind you, you have taken the day off work just to be there when they come. when you move in the apartments they are never clean. make sure you keep the repair receipts when you move out. they will charge you for stuff that you reported while you was there. the gazebo by the pool has been broken since 2002. are they going to fix it' no! just like they never do. then when we decided to move they lost our notice. claim they never received it. then that messed up our move date. we are not the first people they have did this to. they are a bunch of liars. if you cant trust the mgmt staff where you live, then who can you trust. you can call and report your neighbor for noise and all they say is, OK we?ll talk to them and never do. then they charge you $40 added on to the rent when you first move in for water. think about it. who uses $40 worth of water in an apt per month. then after 3 months they tell you what the new water charge is. but the maintenance people never come out to check. the water meter is inside of the apt. so how can they check it. i was at home most of the day so i know they didnt come. i guess they charge the basic service for everyone. the apartments would be a nice to place live. but when you look at the greeters, the mgmt, then you will think twice.
