Awful Complex

This apartment complex has MANY MANY problems.

To start, there is NEVER any parking. You have to park two buildings down because they don't enforce the "2 car per apartment" rule. My building is half empty and there still is NO parking. One apartment has at least 5 cars.

Also, the office staff has changed numerous times since I've lived there. (I moved in July 2005.) They are always rude to me when I call to make a complaint.

Don't be fooled by the gate. It isn't a gated complex at all. The gate didn't even start working until May 2006. When I moved in they said it would be fixed in 2 weeks!!! It's not like it matters though. The gate doesn't have a wooden arm that swings down so people can easily follow others in. Also, it often is broken and never fixed, so it remains open.

There is a lot of crime. There was someone killed and many cars broken into. There is also a LOT of drug activity.

There is a safety patrol company that "monitors" the complex. They always fail to deter the people from breaking in cars though. They also harrass you if you are outside at night. They watch your every move.

About the requesting payment from people who don't live there...the women across the hall from my place moved out in Dec 2005 and they STILL put notices on her door for payment and eviction notices, etc. I've called them numerous times to tell them she isn't there any more and they just say "oh, yeah, we knew that." The other lady on my level was sick in bed for three weeks and turned her payment in one day late. She handed it to the office staff and they said it would be fine. Less than one week later she's being told she's evicted. It took at least a month to sort the whole thing out.

The gazebo by the pond has been destroyed by the resident kids that roam around unsupervised. All of the railing bars have been broken out and tossed around the grounds. (and NEVER picked up). The kids just run through the parking lot and don't watch out for cars.

The swimming pool ALWAYS is overcrowded with people who don't seem to even live in the complex.

The apartment complex also has no respect for the laws of the US. They take money from whoever they can get it from whether it is legal or not. There are many illegal residents at the apartment complex.

As for the surrounding area, the complex is on a road that is full of apartment complexes. There is so much crime and drugs. There are even registered sex offenders on the road. The road is very hard to drive on and dangerous because of all the people that drive on it. There are often people walking on the side of the road and crossing the street randomly. EVEN at night!!

Overall, the place is a dump and I've decided to put another $150 towards my rent and upgrade to a MUCH MUCH nicer complex.
