Absolutely not, I would not have moved here if I had known then what I know now.
Loud people playing music in the middle of the night (and day, for that matter), the most horrible, shoddy maintenance staff I have ever seen, awful parking, grounds full of trash, streets full of garbage, an overflowing compactor, coupled with a management staff that is incompetent, uncaring, and unresponsive. When we came to move in, the day we showed up to finalize papers (with belongings in tow) our apartment was not even ready! It was so filthy it took a team of 3 people 3 hours to clean it up, as we sat and waited in threatening rain for them to finish. The carpets were not cleaned, there were all sorts of maintenance problems that half (8 months later) have still not been fixed. When our dishwasher broke on a Friday afternoon I was told, "well it's late on Friday, I will have someone get back to you on Monday". They never did, I had to fix it myself. The downstairs neighbors got into a domestic brawl and the police were out in the hallway with screaming, drunken people in front of my children at 9pm on a Friday night. On top of all this, we, too, have been hit with a "Records show your water consumption is far above average" and our fixed water bill has risen an incredible $65 a month! The neighboring complex in even more trashy than ours, and I hate to have to look at their mess and listen to their loud music and wild children at 2am.
I could go on and on and on.
The bottom line is NO, stay away. While I play luxury prices, the neighborhood and genre of people here are more along the lines of what I would expect to find in a low to mid class neighborhood.
One good note, the elementary school is very good. If you can find a better community in the same district I would recommend doing that rather than stay here and pay inflated prices for a trashy place.
