My fianc and I moved here in January. I wish I would have known about this website first. The day we moved into our apartment I should have walked away. There were cabinet doors missing in the kitchen. They also didn't have a mailbox key for us. The fixed the kitchen quickly, but the mailbox was a nightmare. It took 2 weeks to get the problem fixed and I physically went into the office EVERY DAY. I was late on bills because I could not get them out of the mailbox. When they finally did fix the box and give me a key that worked, the stupid people changed the lock the next day, making my new key useless. It took another 2 days to get that problem fixed.
A week after we moved in our disposal broke. They said they would be there the next day to fix it. YEAH RIGHT!! Again, I called or physically went to the office EVERY DAY. It did nothing. Finally, I got a hold of somebody at the corporate office and that same day somebody came by to fix it. Everything was fine and great and then a month after the problem was fixed somebody came by saying, "I'm here to fix your disposal..." um, don't you people keep records of what apartments you have been to already'
The parking lots are a nightmare. I don't have kids, so maybe I don't understand, but there are children running everywhere! They come bolting out from behind cars without looking. Even though I am a careful driver I am so afraid of hitting a kid one day!
Our apartment is cute and we have enough space, but the management makes this place awful. Please please please do your research!!! I wish I would have.
