I moved in this apartment complex in 2005. I have witnessed 2 mangerial changes and a host of leasing consultants come and go. I was originally told by a young lady that my deposit was only $200.00. I guess that was a mistake on her behalf. Also, she had provided me with a prorated amount that I would need to pay to move in. At move-in time, the prorated amount was incorrect. However, the complex had to honor the move in rate b/c I maintained the actual paperwork. After that day, my world changed. I CONSTANTLY had to call in for maintenance b/c my tub stayed clogged. I went through 3 different shower curtains b/c of the residue build up. I started taking showers without one after while b/c I got sick and tired of cleaning the tub out and changing curtains. I NEVER had seen roaches as big as they were here. I could not sleep. They crawled on my walls, carpets, in my bathroom. Just horrible. At move out, I was told by one staff member (before they left) to just give a 30 days notice and that my leased had ended at the end of the month, only AFTER I had turned it in, they then had indicated that my lease had ended a lot sooner. I got an ok for my move-out. I thought I was getting my deposit back. When I called, they told me that I had owed damn near a whole months rent and they kept my $200.00 security deposit b/c they said I did not give enough notice. On top of that, they told me that I owed for my water bill for the 2 years that I had resided there. Now, if I had owed that much money, why wait until the end of the lease to let me know that I owed money to a water company. I am telling you. Do NOT MOVE HERE. From the residents, maintenance, and roaches, this place is heavily infested. There is so much crime here that you are never notified about until you hear it by word of mouth. They accidentally had mistaken my boyfriend for a rapist. DO NOT MOVE HERE.
