Brentwood Downs

I moved into Brentwood Downs over two years ago when it was safe and nice. The management was incredible back then.

During the last 6-8 months, the crime has gone through the roof and it is definitely not a safe environment for children at all. There are notices of crime at least once per month placed on the doors. Even though they claim to do criminal background checks on applying resident, it is not true at all. Brenwood Downs had three of the twelve registered state repeat sex offenders in the complex. (Most of the other 9 live across the street on Burns RD.)

The maintenance and management are horrible. I had biting carpenter ants infesting my home over the summer and they were literally puring in from the baseboards (thousands per hour) and I was told that I had to wait until after the weekend for them to even do anything about it.

The pool is filthy and the grounds are not much better.

I amoung several other people are moving out as their lease ends. Long term residents have complained about the management. Please note that the same person runs Wellington Ridge in Lawrenceville (they are having all the same problems).

Air conditioning units malfuntion and leak water down the wall damaging carpet and paint. This has happened twice to nme. Parking is a big problem as well.

I can honestly say that this is now one of the worst apt complexes in Gwinnett.
