Not a good complex to rent if you want to have friends visit

We have lived in the apartments for over a year and any friends or family that visit are constantly harrassed by management. Management is extremely paranoid and literally sit at the window in their office, watch the pool, watch the gazebo and look out over the lake hoping to find someone they can fuss at that shouldn't be on "their" property. It has been extremely frustrating. They assume everyone is bad and trying to steal something or do drugs. It's very sad that it is like that. If you have children or teens, I would STRONGLY suggest that you look elsewhere to rent.
