I lived in Brentwood Downs for almost 6 years. I moved from Gwinnett due to the crime. Brentwood Downs in 2000-present it terrible. The time I was there, it was very noisy. There would be so called "hood-rats" sitting in the stairwells smoking cigarettes and talking loud almost every weekend night. Of course the main problem was the loud bass from their cars waking me up in the middle of the night. In addition, I was concerned for my safety as I got notices on my door every week about break-ins and domestic violence. I had a nice view of the lake- in 1998 it was working middle class and then it went to the ghetto. I see things have not changed.
