I have never in my life written a review about anything. Honestly, I've always accepted the fact that people make mistakes and you should just deal with them. You should really read this before you think about moving into this complex.
First of all, the management will treat you with the best hospitality. Up until they got you in the lease that they want you in. Now, granted I should have read my entire lease to understand all my fees and what not, but I never did think I was going to have to break my lease. One of the employees misinformed me about a lot of things involving the lease. Shouldn't the employee's be able to explain the lease correctly to you''
So forget about that even happening, that's not even what really made me not like this complex at all. I lived there for about 6 months and came home to my apartment door kicked in. They ransacked my place, and took a couple items. I dealt with the situation accordingly. I told the leasing office that I either wanted to transfer (which wasn't something I really wanted to do) or I was going to move out. So she searched for another apartment and out of 250 units she could only find me an apartment that in the same exact building. So should I not be in fear of my safety at this point'
So to prove these people are cold hearted, they tried to make it seem like I was selling drugs or something and maybe it was somewhat of my fault. Wrong. Within two weeks, two more apartments were kicked in and electronics and other items were stolen. I told them they needed to be using the gate they have because it is open 85% of the time. She had the nerve to tell me that they keep it open because people break it. So now I am having to pay $1150 just in termination fees. Now tell me if I'm wrong, but I don't think it's my fault I had to break my lease. If I can't feel safe in my own apartment, then why should I even consider staying'
Sometimes I wonder what would have happened if I was home while it happened and they had guns. I have a gun myself, but that's beside the point. These people have no intention on taking care of you after you sign that lease. I'm a manager of a business. Anyone who is also knows that you should also do whatever it takes to make that customer happy. Granted you can't make everyone happy, but you can always make that slight effort for everyone.

Well I am sorry to hear you didn't read your legal document when you moved in. I know that maybe sometimes you get in a rush at move in and don't want to read what is important, but that is no ones fault but your own. I love the office staff they are always helpful and courteous. If you have a issue and they know about it they will do what they can to help. No it is not up to the employee to explain everything to you word for word that is why you get a copy of the lease yourself. Oh yes another thing in the apartment business they have whats called fair housing rules they have to follow or they will be sued. Which in simple terms means that they cant bend the rules just for you, if its written in the lease they have to follow it. They cant do for you what they cant do for someone else.

Alright Columns employee! No need to use the name Anonymous to try and make y'all look better.. which isn't going work. It's sad that y'all really think that y'all inform people of the correct information. It's pretty sad in my opinion. Not only that, but I could care less about any fair housing rules, when my safety is any bit of a concern than it should be addressed with some quickness. Now, I'm not saying that I should be a king and treated better than the next person, but I expect for someone to show some sort of support. When I hear that within the week of my incident that 4 more apartments were also kicked in and robbed I gaurentee that y'all still haven't made an effort to correct any of this mess. Before you come on here trying to prove anyone else wrong you need to go inside and out and fix that damn complex. I'm a guy trying to go to school and maintain a job and survive just like y'all and for Tabatha (which it's probbaly you) to go and say that she can't speak because she's never faced that problem is ludacris. Anyone who has their head screwed on right knows they wouldn't want to stay in the same place who just had their house robbed and ransacked. Especially when you have a kid. I would like to see y'all get sued because y'all looked out for my safety. Next time don't try and stick up for someone who has a terrible rating. And sadly for one reason..because they don't do or get a damn thing right. Tried to give me an apartment in the same building. Are you kidding me?? These people are some jokes. Every last one of them.

I remember when these things happened. They sent everyone letters informing them of "alledged" break-ins. If you can't trust your own residents, you shouldn't have rented to them! Treat us with respect. PLEASE!
