I'm recently moved to this complex, and I dont know what to do now...there is a lot of noise and neighbors drinking on the hallways during the day.
I dont know for how long I will stay here, but if nothing change I will ask the management to let me go before my lease expire, because is not a secure complex specially for kids.

If you are noticing things such as other residents drinking and loitering in the breezeways, you should contact the office. Chances are the leasing staff does not live on site and is not aware of what goes on after hours. If you inform the office of where these person(s) live they can resolve the situation. Also, if they have a courtesy officer, take advantage of that. That is what they are there for after hours. Any apartment community is a peaceful and safe or destructive and dangerous as the residents make it. Apartment communities are neighborhoods, just like if you lived in a house. Each resident has to take responsibility and notify the appropriate people when things are going on that shouldn't be. Unfortunatley, that is just the world we live in today.
