I lived at Westbury Springs for 8 yrs. I am sooooo glad to have found a new place to call home. The trash in the parking lots, breezeways, all the questionable residents moving in have banged up my car doors, hang outside all the time, litter, watch tv out on the balcony with rabbit ears and blast musid all night long. I had been awakend at several occasions at 4 am with the cantina musing going full blast... on a Sunday morning when I am usually waking up for church...I just could not find any peace here any longer. The office is absolutely no help. When the people moved in upstairs and walked so very very heavy on the floor, I asked the office to talk with them. The new upstairs neighbors denied it was them and said I must have hears somebody else.
Plus I was paying about $100 mover per month than the new residents movin in. The unit was mold ridden and so filthy...I should have gotten a carpet cleaning somewhere along the line for renewing one of those 8 yrs. But I never was asked and did not think to demand it.
So for $30 more a month I got into a great comunity that is only 3 yr. old and lovely, gated and safe. I always felt safe at Westbury Springs, that is one thing they kep me there so long. But the inconsiderate neighbors that have overcrowded apartments have been its demise. I have a mother friend that is living there still and the roaches are unbelievable. where I moved to now says that they have no roaches, that if you ask the pest co to spray for roaches, it is an additional fee because it is not a common bug they have chemicals on the truck for. At Westbury Springs, my mother-friend has tape over her electric outlet in the kitchen to keep the roaches from crawling out into her apt. and she has bombed it several weekends in a row, to no avail. I would not recommend moving here. It is full of transient day laborers, many section 8 welfare residents too. so , I moved, I hate to move, I hope to be here for several years to come.
