we have lived here just over a year now and this will be the last. When we moved in the staff was very nice and helpful. We had a few issues that required maintenance and they were very slow to respond and took several calls. You have to keep calling to get anything done. We had to sign our new lease 60 days in advance to keep our current rate. The month after we signed we started noticing the complex starting to get real bad with safety. We started talking to neighbors about all the vandalism going on. we found out the apartments within 2 miles were a much better price and they were now nicer on the inside with new and updated applainces, cabinets ect. We regret the quick decision to resign. The outside lights are always out so it is dark when you come home at night. We have received several notices about the burglaries in the community and it appears this is only our responsibility. They just give you a piece of paper letting you know how bad its getting. Cars are always being broken into. The trash is always overflowing. We have seen several people pull of Thornton, dump there trash and leave. It is not gated so it's a free for all. The pool at the club house, people are always in and jumping off of the fountain and the staff ignores it. They just walk by like they don't see it. The maintenance man spoke to a man and his son as they were sitting in the fountain squirting it everywhere. You can't relax by the pool. The other pool is so nasty you can't sit in any chairs and the language by the neighboring kids who use this pool because its not supervised at all is just as filthy. As far as the noise in the apartment you can here everything your neighbors are doing. The bugs are bad too.

Totally Agree!! I believe I know what apartments you are referring to with the upgraded appliances. They are very nice on the inside and charge more than $100 less for their rent then this place does. I know because my husband and I have decided not to renew our lease with Madison months ago! They even tried a gimmick to get people to renew with them. The customer service is horrible, the bugs are huge and I've never seen so many insect and bug species in one place besides fernbank in my LIFE!! They cut the damn grass every 2 days and wasted time paving the entire damn streets, but the appliances are from the 90's when this property was built??? How can these other surrounding apt. communities have so many updates and charge so much less in rent? And the one on Maxham is not the only community around here that has gotten updated appliances!! Also, we also received this letter about the crime, but why hasn't the gate that obviously used to be there not replaced or fixed? Why haven't I been able to wash my car? Why is that so-called lake in the front look nasty? Why is the fitness equipment ragedy and out dated anddd only open during business hours? Aren't we normally at work during leasing hour offices, makes no sense! How can we use the gym if it's closed when we are home? Why do I live in a building where they keep cramming people with 2 or more cars in the building so that I have to sometimes park in front of another building!! This community needs some serious improvements to match the price they charge! This community needs to start from scratch seriously!

I live here and I love it. Nobody listens to what people like you have to say because from your email, it is obvious that you probably complain about every aspect of your life. People like you will never be happy anywhere, home is what you make it and it's a shame you are so unhappy. I invite anyone to drive through here and see for youself how lovely the place is. I give it a very good rating.

You are obviously a staff member. I know many people in this complex who are very unhappy besides myself and family and are not renewing there leases. Yes to drive through It is a very beautiful place from the outside. But it doesn't erase the fact that our cars are being broke into and the parking lot is dark. Safety is a high priority and people need to know. Maybe you have nice appliances that are newer. Ours are bad and we are not alone. It is embarrassing to have peeling contact paper on our cabinets. Have you been to the pool in the middle not by the office? You couldn't have because it is gross. I am not a negative person and am very happy. I feel that people need the info before signing the lease that the apartments are not like the model. You can't change the facts here.
