My husband and myself have resided here for one year. In that year , there has been a rape , a robbery and my own brother's vehicle was stolen right out of his parking place along with all of his tools!! Over 5,000.00 dollars worth of tools !! The night the rape happened , the police were banging on my door at 3 am. They woke us up to find out if we had heard anything !!
My brother's truck was literally stripped apart. The security here does not stop anyone who might look "questionable" on the premises to see if they live here or not. The complex does not have a curfew and until they implement such restrictions , they will never have a handle on getting the crime rate down in this neighborhood. The management here told my brother "they understood why he needed to move" and **gave him permission** to break his lease because of the circumstances and THEN .. turned around and reported it as a "skip". We have , unfortunately , lived out *our terms* of our lease. Had I known the level of crime going on in these apartments , we would not have moved in here to begin with.
So ..before you move here , check with the Douglas County Police Department to get the stats on the crime rate here. If you do not , you may be the next victim. qmzu4EHcaGAPVCPw2Fai

I'm sooo glad I looked at this web Site before I signed a lease with Westley Creekside. I was about to move into an apartment there. I'm a single mom, I dont want to be anywhere that is unsafe for me and my son. Thanks
