My air conditioning has went out a total of EIGHT times since moving in last May. It was never repaired the same day, and most of the time not the next. We have paid our rent EARLY every month, but when we requested an exception one month, they tacked on an additional $300. Any requests I have made of the office staff has been met with a rigid decline, no matter the issue. They haven't gone out of their way one time to assist us in anything. Despite our air being out, we've never been reimbursed for the time spent in hotels or friends' houses. We gave 43 days notice to cancel our lease (12 month [May 01, 2005] lease to be cancelled at exactly 12 months [May 01, 2006]), but they said we would have to give 60 days notice and that we will have to pay per day the extra 18 days (May 18, 2006). We have spent more than 18 days staying at other peoples' houses and in hotels!!!

Let's not forget that we have masses of people hanging around the pool that yell at any female walking to their car or checking their mail, speak openly of rolling blunts, mill around at all hours in packs, and the strange men that follow you to your apartment and beat on doors at 6:30 AM when you return from your morning gym routine. Let's also not forget that security is nonexistent when all this is going on.
