I have been here for two years and I am champing at the bit to get out. My first year wasn t bad things went down hill fast after I signed again for year two. My air went out a total of four times during the summer resulting in about 2 weeks of bumming a place to live with friends and family because my apartment was 85-90 degrees inside with the windows open at night! My electric bill this past September was $239.00 because they can t keep their property up, I had to pay the price. The apartments are old and need to be gutted.
I am currently looking for a new apartment with the assistance of an apartment finder company who told me that Creekside is notorious for allowing residents in with shady backgrounds if it means filling a unit. This past October I was cornered by a man (while walking my dogs) and I truly feel the dogs were the only thing that kept me from being assaulted that night. In November, I had someone try to get into my apartment and again I think the dogs bailed me out when they barked. I got my two dogs as personal protection pets due to the rapid decline of the complex. I also ended up getting a handgun to put my mind at ease. This complex is not safe for a single female and will not be for some time.
Those are two of my biggest issues and I hope you choose to find somewhere better to live. I am willingly downsizing and paying higher rent elsewhere just to get out but then my life is worth it.
**Info on my scoring**
Parking is fine by my part of the building.
Noise is fine in my bedroom but I constantly hear the kids down the hall racing up and down the stairs at all hours of the night if I'm in the living room.
Grounds are fine.
Safety is a big problem.
Construction and maint. are bad, as I said above, it needs to be gutted.
Staff are scraping the bottom of the barrel too.
Overall it is awful.

I couldn't agree with you more. The sad thing is, I moved from there in July 2003 and it's still bad. I think they should just tear it down and start over. This is not a place for single females living alone. I had a stalker over there who was finally caught and arrested. He had been lurking around my door late at night and finally began knocking on my door and running off until my neighbor caught him in the act. He had victimized several other women as well. Good luck on your search.

Not sure if you will read this or not, but the situation with the guy I was cornered by was very unsettling. In Oct I rescued my two dogs because I wanted companionship and something that would look a little menacing. As it turned out my dogs are abuse rescues who are afraid of men so they don???t offer too much protection however when the guy cornered me, my one dog barked and he backed away enough for me to get past him and inside my apartment. About 10 min. after I had barricaded myself in my apartment, I heard a lot of noise outside. I went to the window and saw three police officers standing in the parking lot describing the same guy. Who knows that may have been your stalker as well.
