Could be better

I have lived in many different apartments, this is not the worst but could certainly be improved. When i moved it, nearly all of the appliances were not in working order. After 3 months, the ice make still has not be repaired. Also, the sink wouldn't drain and the garbage disposal didn't work. I went to load the dishwaher and it fell right out from under the counter into the floor- I wasn't even bolted or screwed in! I moved in around the holidays to a unit with Washer/dryer. I went to do a load of laundry and the washer wasn't even connected to the hoses- water was everywhere! The dryer too wasn't hooked up. I called and was told by the maintence department that it wold get fixed within "nest week"!!! I was also told he didn't even think the dryer worked. Well, after several days, the washer was connected and the dryer was replaced. The appliances are very very old- atleast 20 years old. Very small capacity and takes 2-3 drying cycles to get clothes dry. The range is just as old. There is nothing to tell you how hot the oven is... it's a guessing game. I have had other things needing to be repaired over the 3 months as well. Nothing is ever fixed properly, just "bandaids" applied to make it work for the time being. The building is obviously rather old, all wood. People walking up and down the stairs is extremely noise- all times of day and night. The trash dumpster is disgusting. For those that live toward the back of the complex, you have to DRIVE your trash to the dumster as it's all the way at the entrance to the complex. Thankfully, I don't have childred because I wouldn't feel safe letting them go outside to play or ride bikes- people FLY through the parking lots. I must say, I am thankful this is only a temporary residency for me. Even though it's inexpensive rent, I would expect better :-(

I used to work for Wesley Creekside. Maintenance men are not the root of the issue. The problem is those jerks at the top of the chain have paid off Creekside, its a cash cow and lord forbid they pour a little extra money into the oldest property they have to make it live able for their residents. They could really care less. About employees and residents. I have called myself to the corporate offices and complained consistently about the conditions some of the residents were dealing with and the truth is, they don't care. Its about bringing in the rent money. They do not care about your ice maker, your AC, your stove, your hot water heater they don't care about your problems. Lets put it this way, if Wesley offered a FREE apartment to employees I wouldn't think twice about turning it down. There have been families that came to look at the place and I was purposely rude to them to save them the heartache and bullcrap that comes with living there and dealing with management. Its an awful property and I don't recommend it to anyone.
